Municipal Stormwater Sewer Systems (MS4) Training
WAY offers its "Pollution Prevention and Good Housekeeping Best Management Practices" to elected officials and municipal
employees upon request, free of charge. This training is an 8-hour workshop and can be delivered at your facility, as time
and resources allow.
Watersheds and Wetlands School Programs
WAY's partners offer "Watersheds and Wetlands" School programs, grades 4-12, for a fee. These programs are designed
for enhancing your in-door and out-door classroom experience and resources while achieving the Pennsylvania Department of
Education's Environment & Ecology academic standards. We can customize each program to help satisfy your teaching needs.

Rainwater Conservation Barrels
Be water wise and conserve rain water at home for watering your garden, potted plants, and landscape. The York County Conservation
District and Nixon Park offer a 2-hour workshop on "Be Water Wise: Rain Barrel Water Conservation" in the spring,
annually. Learn how rain barrels work and make one of your own, for a nominal fee. Or, you may learn about rain barrels and
their construction by downloading the PowerPoint presentation below.

Watershed Weekend
Watershed Weekend is our annual public education, restoration and protection opportunity for our partners to sponsor a venue
that will attract the public and get them involved supporting their cause. Partners provide venue planning and operation,
and WAY provides education and outreach, facilitation, and technical assistance. Watershed Weekend is held the last full
weekend of September, annually. If you're organization is interested in sponsoring a venue, please let us know.
