About Watershed Weekend

The public is invited to Watershed Weekend and encouraged to get to know their watershed and the people and organizations working hard to restore and protect them.

Watershed Weekend is held annually on the last  Saturday and Sunday of September.

Venues include hands-on conservation, environmental education, and stewardship activities, and more. Most venues are located in York County, the Lower Susquehanna River and Upper West Shore Chesapeake Bay Watersheds.

The Watershed Alliance of York (WAY) is a coalition of stakeholders committed to encouraging watershed-based planning, restoration and protection, through locally led initiatives, in York County and beyond.
